Abstract

Fretting corrosion is one of the main sources of failure in hip and knee joints. Understanding of the fretting corrosion behaviour of implants becomes an important challenge not only for the medial professionals who perform the surgery but also for the scientists and engineers who are involved in design and development of the prosthetic devices
