Abstract
Given the availability of used batteries across the country, their recycling will provide India a viable and attractive option to address an acute shortage of critical metals required for the country which is on the cusp of unprecedented development and growth, this article provides insights on the values hidden in these spent batteries and various process developed at CSIR-NML.
