Abstract

With increasing demand for castings of close tolerance limits and of high melting point alloys, a wide range of foundry moulding materials has been developed to suit the different types of foundry practices commonly adopted, namely, green sand, dry sand, oil sand, shell moulding, precision investment processes, shaw process, etc.
