Abstract

GRAPHITE crucibles are extensively used for melting ferrous and non-ferrous alloys and metals. The present demand for the products as estimated by the Directorate General for Technical Development is 3 000 tons per annum and is expected to rise to 7 000 tons per annum by 1970-71. Our estimate puts the present demand at appr-oximately 1 200 tons per annum and expects it to reach 3 000 tons per annum by 1970-71.
