Abstract
New Plants for Production of Stainless Steel -- The Government of India has recently approved two schemes
for the manufacture of stainless steel in the country.
The first factory with a capacity of 7000 tons is being established in Madras, while the second one with an initial capacity of 10,000 tons would be located at Ahmedabad. The two factories are expected to go into production within two years.
