Abstract
THE technique known as "rapid metallurgy" or "metallurgy by violent intermixing with molten slags" initiated around 1930 by Societe d'Electro- Chimie, d'Electro-Metallurgie et des Acieries Electriques d'UGINE, is an extension to the treatment of metallic molten baths of the conventional principles of chemistry applied to the obtention of rapid reactions.
