Abstract
Durgapur oxygen plant goes into operation - The oxygen plant at Durgapur steelworks with a rated capacity of 50 tons of oxygen per day at 99.5 per cent purity has gone into operation. Provisions have also been made for a final installed capacity of 300 tons of oxygen per day which may be required to cope with future expansion programmes.
