The Manufacture of Aluminium Bronze

Abstract

Employing practices and equipment generally available for copper alloy casting like gun metals and phoshor bronze, attempts have been made by Indian foundries to manufacture Aluminium Bronze Castings without unders-tanding its basic principles. This paper has tried to deal with factors that should be considered for economic production of Aluminium Bronze Castings.
