Abstract
This paper seeks to examine the philosophy and action plan for managing wastes and converting specific wastes to useful materials. It also focuses on waste generation in the global metallurgical industry and the steps being taken by it through effective environment management and
technological skills to recycle such wastes for effective re-use.
