Abstract

The stabilization of dolomites has been discussed in terms of the phase equilibria and mineral composition. Additions of serpentine,/quartzite, talc magnesite schist and saxonite were made such that only tricalcium silicate formed as per the calculation. The calculated mineral compositions are given. The effect of grain size on the stabilisation has been dealt with. The effect of mineralisers on the stabilisation of dicalcium silicate has also been studied.
