Abstract
Two iron ore samples each weighing about 1 tons were received from the chief Mining Engineer, National Mineral Development Corporation, Kiriburu, Project, Orissa. One of the sample was in lumps mostly of +4” size whereas the other was -1/2” fines. The National Metallurgical Laboratory was requested to do the screen analysis of both the samples and determine the iron, silica and alumina contents in the various fractions.
