Abstract
The sand sample designated GSP- 3 was received from the Punjab State Industries Department, Chandigarh to assess its suitability for foundry moulding purposes. The sand sample is reported to have collected from deposits at Marre . The sand as received was grey in colour and was medium to fine grained in size.
