Abstract

Mr. Kharia, Mr. Swaminathan, Dr. Kumar, Di% Rao, fellow delegates and gentlemen. It is now my pleasant duty to propose a hearty vote of thanks. Mr. Kharia has very kindly agreed to inaugurate this seminar, despite the heavy pressure of work. He has brill-iantly focussed the attention on the need for Innovations in the refractory practice in the reheating and heat treatment furnaces. You Sir, as a Chairman of a leading refractories producer, not only produce the refractories, but also consume them in your TISCO works and therefore play a dual role in building a better rapport between the refractories technologist and the metaillurgist.
