Studies on inhibitors for packaging & storage

Abstract

Corrosion prevention of various finished and unfinished steel products during transit and storage is very important for engineering industries. Attempts have been made in this study to evaluate the characteristics of the different inhibitors and to indicate how far the practical conditions determine the efficiency of inhibitive property of sodium benzoate, sodium nitrite plus urea mixture, dicclohexylammonium nitrite and cyclohexylamine carbonate.
