Abstract
The stabilization of austenite in two steels by hydrogen, introduced under certain special conditions, has been recently reported by us'. A similar but more pronounced stabilization has also been reported, by Gulyaev and Zelenovas, for austenite monocrystals extracted by selective anodic dissolution.
