Abstract
Lead is one of the most important metals in our modern civilisation and its use increases day by day. India faces an acute short supply of this metal and the gap between indigenous production and consumption of lead can be somewhat minimised only by utilisation of secondary lead from wastes and scraps have been critically reviewed from the current literature.
