Abstract
Five samples of ferromanganese slag from the electric furnaces at Joda were received from M/s. Tata Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., for recovery of ferromanganese by tabling. It was found that except for two samples in which the metallic content was very low, high grade concentrates with good ferromanganese recoveries could be obtained from the samples by tabling at about 20 mesh size.
