Abstract
The present investigation is one of the series of investigations undertaken in the National Metallurgical Laboratory on the beneficiation of low-grade chrome ores from various parts of India. Two samples of low-grade chrome ore, one from Kanauji deposits and the other from Vanda deposits of Ratnagiri District, Maharashtra State were received from the Director, Geological Survey of Calcutta, India, for beneficiation studies.
