Abstract
The Sand sample designated UPSS-2 was received from the Directorate of Geology & Mining, Govt. of U.P. to assess its suitability as a foundry moulding material. The sand is reported to have been collected from MANAKWAN area I District. Allahabad. The sand as received was light pink in colour.
