Abstract

The Sand sample designated BTL-14 was supplied by the Director of Industries, Government of Punjab to assess its suitability as a foundry moulding material. The sand sample is reported to have been collected form a source 3.3 Km. away from Panj Graiyan on the Jullundar road. As received the sand sample was pale brown in colour and medium to fine grained in size.
