Abstract
The sand sample designated BTL-15 was received from the Department of Industries, Govt. of Punjab to assess its suitability as a foundry moulding material. The sample is reported to have been collected from the source Pura' on the Fatehgarh-Churian Road. As received, the sand sample was brown in colour and medium to fine-grained in size.
