Abstract
The sand sample no. BTL-8 was received from the Department of Industries, Govt. of Punjab to assess its suitability for foundry moulding purposes. The sand sample is river sand and is reported to have been collected from Srihargobindpur. The sand in the 'As Received' state was dull white in colour and fine-grained in size.
