Abstract
The Sand Sample No. GSP-19 was sponsored by the Department of Industries, Govt. of Punjab to assess its suitability as a foundry moulding sand. The sand sample is reported to have been collected from Gosal in Gurdaspur District. The sand sample as received was dark brown in colour and sub-angular to rounded in shape.
