Abstract
Two sand samples designated Goriali and Jayadi moulding sands were sent by M/s Associated Cement Cos., Ltd., Bombay to determine their physical properties and their suitability for moulding purposes. The deposits of these two sands occur in Goriali and Jayadi, localities near Dwarka Town in the district of Amreli of Bombay State.
