Abstract
Thirteen Indian refractory clays have been studied with a view to improve their workability and dry strengths. The variation in pH values of these clays with increasing additions of sodium carbonate and consequent effect on dry strength of the clays have been conditioned by additions of sodium carbonate and increase in their workability assessed.
