Abstract
A sample of Iron ore from the Badampahar Mine of the Tata Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., was received from the General Metallurgical Division of the National Metallurgical Laboratory for removal of impurities such as silica and alumina. The concentrates were required for experiments to be conducted on direct reduction of Iron ore to produce variable density steel.
