Abstract
A small experimental iron cupola has been designed to work with the Indian high ash containing cokes. The fabricated cupola was successfully high temperatures suitable for nodularising operations. Experimental work has been described on dilution of phosphorous by incorporating steel scrap in the charge upto 45%.
