Abstract

Using porous cup-spark technique and simple condensed spark circuit, mutually disturbing effects of major alloying elements namely copper, aluminium and magnesium in the analysis of zinc alloys are sufficiently small to be ignored. The technique developed by the authors may therefore be used for the simultaneous determination of copper, aluminium and magnesium in zinc-base alloys employed for die casting.
