Survey report on Moradabad Utensil & Cutlery Industries with Special Reference to Silver Plating Finishes

Abstract

This survey report is the outcome of the visit by the author to the Utensil and Cutlery Industries at Moradabad. It gives, in short, the various techniques employed in the production of these articles and also contains suggestions of the author for improvement. He is of opinion that for the survival of such important cottage industries in these days of competition, the production process is soon to be placed on a scientific basis, fact to which attention of the Government has also been drawn.
