Abstract

This paper describes small-scale production of electrolytic iron powder using set up. The process is based on plating of iron as a hard pulverisable layer on starter sheets, from which they are stripped and later milled to obtain the metal powder. The paper brings forth the ease of operating iron solutions kept at or above 3pH, compared to more acid solutions.
