Abstract
The sand sample No.KS-4 was received from the Department of Industries, Govt. of Punjab to assess its suitability for foundry moulding purposes. The sand sample is reported to have been collected from Khanpur in the Khara area of Distt. Ropar . The sand in the, As Received ‘state, was grey in colour and medium to fine-grained in size.
