Abstract

Bailadila iron ore mines are developed by the National Mineral Development Corporation, Ore from this deposit is for export to Japan, Earlier, iron ore iron deposit No. 14 has been studied in National Metallurgical Laboratory for its washing, Screening and agglomeration characteristics and the results obtained presented in Report No, IR/310/64. The present investigation on a Sample from No, 5 deposit at Bailadila was undertaken at the request of N. M., D. C. to study the quality, and quantity of fines produced when the ore was crushed to (i)6 size and (ii)4" size.
