Abstract
The progress of the mineral and metallurgical industries of a country is mainly dependent on the effective utilization of its mineral resources. Consequently, great emphasis has been laid, during our successive five-year plans, on the painstaking and systematic survey and development of the mineral resources. Utilization of low-grade ores after beneficiation is the principal means of conservation of mineral resources and their optimum utilization.
