Abstract

This investigation was under-taken to study the moulding characteristics of G,S.I. sand II received from the Geological Survey of India. The sand sample is reported to have been collected from the Cheyyar Anaicut in North Arcot Dist. of Madras State. The sand in the as received condition was dull brown in colour.
