Abstract
The Sand Sample designated as BTL-4 was received from Punjab State Industries Department, Chandigarh to assess its suitability as a foundry moulding sand. The sand sample was collected from a source 9 miles away from the Dera Baba Nanak Road, Batala. As received the sand sample was brown in colour and medium to fine grained.
