Abstract
The Sand Sample designated as BTL-3 was received from Punjab State Industries Department, Chandigarh to study its suitability as a foundry moulding sand. The sand sample is from a source one furlong south of Dharam kot on Dera Baba Nanak Road, Batala. The sand as received was dirty brown in colour and medium to fine grained.
