Abstract

The Sand sample was received from the Director, Directorate of Geology and Mining, Arangath Road, Ernakulam-8, Kerala State to determine its suitability for foundry moulding purposes. The sand was collected from Pallipuram village, Sherthallai Taluk, Kerala. The sand in” as-received” condition was dirty white in colour and medium to fine grained in size.
