Abstract
The Sand sample designated as BTL-2 was received from Punjab State Industries Department, Chandigarh for assessing its suitability for foundry moulding purposes. The sand was collected from Dharamkot on Dera Baba Nanak Road, Batala. The sand sample as received was dirty brown in colour and medium to fine-grained.
