Abstract
This investigation on the study of moulding character1sties of the Silica Sand from Shankargarh, Central Railway was taken upon for Messrs Southern Alloy Foundries (P) Ltd. The sand was dull whitish in colour in the as-received state. The grains were sub-rounded to sub-angular in shape.
