Abstract

A sample of Fluorspar ore from Mando-ki-pal Dungarpur District Rajasthan was received from the government of Rajasthan for grindability tests in connection with their fluorspar project. The sample after crushing to -10 mesh was wet ground in a ball mill for different periods and a graph was drawn showing the relationship between the time of grind and fineness of product. A comparison of the graph with the standard indicated that the sample under investigation could be designated as a medium ore, which is between medium hard and medium soft ore, according to the classification of Denver Equipment Co., U.S.A.
