Abstract
The investigation was carried out to study the moulding characteristics of the send received from the Geological Survey of India, Kerala circle. The sand was collected from the quarry between Milestones 3/6 and end 3/7 on Shertallai, Pallipuram Road, Alleppey District, Kerala state. The sand was white in colour with medium to fine grains
