Abstract
Beneficiation of Iron ores in the Metallurgical sense relates not merely to the earliest of the steel content of the ore by rejection of gangue but also to ore preparation. The latter aims at the physical improvement of the ore by crushing, sizing, agglomeration of resultant fines etc., for uniform operation of the iron blast furnace to ensure minimum fuel consumption consistent with maximum productivity of quality output.
