Abstract
Two iron ore samples each weighing about 1ton were received from the chief mining engineer Orissa .one of the samples was in lumps mostly of +4’’sine whereas the other was -1/2’fines. the national metallurgical laboratory was requested to do the screen analysis of both the samples and determine the iron silica and alumina contents in the various fractions.
