Abstract
The present investigation is one in a series of investigations carried out at the Nationa1 Metallurgical Laboratory on the beneficiation of low-grade manganese ores from different parts of India. Uses and specifications of standard grades of manganese ore for various industries are given in the earlier reports. A monograph entitled “Beneficiation of low-grade manganese ores of India" has already been published by the National Metallurgical Laboratory, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research.
