Abstract
Existing technical literature available on the subject of Abnormality in Steels has been surveyed and compiled. The properties of abnormal steels and the causes of abnormality are briefly summarised. The mechanism of the reaction proposed by various workers is discusses. A bibliography on the subject is also attached.
