Abstract
Three 2cwt samples of sands one a yellow natural moulding sands another a core sand were received from M/S Batala engineering co, Ltd.Batala(Panjab) wth a few determine their characteristics for use in a moulding and core mixtures .the sample of natural therefore crushed after drying , The crushed sand was them sifted through a6 mesh sieve .The portion of the sand passing through the sieve was taken up for investigations purpose. Investigations on the core and river sands were taken up with the sand sample as received .
