Dimensional Standardization of Refractories

Abstract

Dimensional standardization of Refractories can be defined as the standardization of shapes and sizes of refractory structural units. depending on the service requirement and location where the refractory has to fit a set of standards can be laid down defining its shape size and general design. Such a procedure is an essential part of the general scheme of standardization and its importance has been fairly well recognized in other countries.
