Abstract
A sample of iron ore weighing about 10 tons and Consisting of lumps from 8 to 1" size was received from the Kiriburu Iron Ore Project of the National Mineral Development Corporation with a request that crushing tests may be undertaken at the National Metallurgical Laboratory with the above ore employing (1) a Jaw Crusher and (2) Gyratory Crusher, both being set at/different sizes, viz., 3", 2" and 2" discharge products. Produced during crushing were required to be furnished to them, L3 The amounts of -1/2" size fines produced during crushing were required to be furnished to them.
