Abstract
About 10 tons of an iron ore sample were received from the Chief Engineer (Mining), Kiriburu Iron Ore Project, National Mineral Development Corporation, for carrying out a preliminary washing test before taking up detailed sample of the run-of- mine ore from the same 1ocality. The object of this washing test was, primarily to determine the amount of slime that could be rejected by this operation and the insoluble’s that will thereby be simultaneously eliminated from the ore.
