Abstract
The industrial application of ultrasonic detection of internal flaws has now been well recognized in its important engineering components.the acceptances of some materials for critical applications is based on rigid ultrasonic test specifications .with the objectives of eliminating personal fasters formulation of rational standards and modes of calibration and test have been evolved especially for the pulse reflection techniques with electronic instrumentation where several variables are encountered
